AlloClae

Conveniently located to serve the areas of Marin, San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa

alloClae (alloClae™) is the first minimally invasive body contouring solution of its kind, an injectable filler containing natural fat that increases volume naturally and precisely where you want it.

Why Patients Love This Treatment

  • Immediate, targeted volume
  • Natural, lasting results
  • Minimally invasive procedure=less downtime

How It Works

  • alloClae contains minimally processed fat cells, and we administer it to areas you want to reshape, refine, or replace volume naturally
  • Unlike traditional fat grafting, which uses a patient’s own fat, alloClae utilizes purified donor fat that has no DNA to minimize the risk of adverse reactions (1)
  • alloClae’s preserves its natural cellular structure, allowing it to integrate more seamlessly into the targeted tissue
  • After injection, alloClae produces immediate volume and helps support the body’s natural restorative process, promoting the formation of new fat tissue and collagen cells over time (2)

About alloClae

alloClae utilizes extracellular matrix proteins to add volume immediately and promote regeneration over time. (3) alloClae restores youthful contours and strengthens skin and underlying tissue. Maybe you have reached your goal weight, but wish to enhance your results and achieve more definition. Maybe you have tried other solutions and cannot seem to find the right fit. In some cases, lean patients may not see their ideal results through fat transfers, as it requires sufficient fat to transfer from another part of the body. It also involves a multi-step procedure with longer downtime, and it can be applied to the breasts, buttocks, hips, and face. It can also be used for intimate rejuvenation. alloClae works anywhere that would benefit from increased volume, and it effectively optimizes structure, support, and cushioning.

Procedure

Your alloClae treatment session will occur in our Marin County office and, depending on the treatment area, will last approximately 30-60 minutes. Your alloClae treatment will unfold as follows:

  1. Dr. Hvistendahl or another injection specialist will cleanse the treatment area and administer an anesthetic. For larger treatments, we may employ light sedation.
  2. Dr. Hvistendahl marks the areas or injection sites where he will apply alloClae. This works as a roadmap for achieving balanced and symmetrical results.
  3. Dr. Hvistendahl carefully injects alloClae into the subcutaneous or intramuscular layer, taking multiple passes to ensure smooth distribution and contours. The use of a cannula prevents trauma from occurring to surrounding tissue and lowers the risk of complications.
  4. Gentle massage allows Dr. Hvistendahl to manipulate and mold the filler to sculpt the treatment areas. He may also check for symmetry by having you stand or adjust your position, ensuring your filler will appear natural and in proportion to the rest of your body.
  5. After administering the necessary amount of filler and achieving your desired results, you will rest briefly, and then you can return home.

Recovery

After your treatment session, you should do the following to aid your recovery process:

  • Avoid exposing any treated areas to sun, UV lamps, and extreme hot or cold temperatures for the first 48 hours
  • During that same time frame, refrain from any vigorous activity and avoid fully submerging the treated areas in water
  • Expect mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness at and around the injection sites for a few days post-treatment
  • Avoid massaging or putting any type of direct pressure on the treated areas for approximately one week
  • Follow your care instructions for any sterile dressings or compression garments, and inform us of any discomfort

Results

Inside the injection area, alloClae’s extracellular matrix provides a scaffold for your own cells to proliferate and regenerate. alloClae supports collagen production and tissue remodeling, which facilitates natural-feeling and long-lasting results. You will experience a combination of immediate, visible volume increase and gradual enhancement as the alloClae integrates into your body.

FAQ

Will my alloClae injections feel natural to the touch?

Yes! Because alloClae derives from human fat, it integrates seamlessly into the recipient’s tissue. Once fully healed, it will feel smooth to the touch and blend into surrounding areas, whereas synthetic fillers can often feel stiff and less malleable.

How long do alloClae results last?

The longevity of your treatment will vary depending on the size of the treated area and your unique biology, but alloClae’s preserved extracellular matrix supports natural integration and gradual collagen renewal. This produces benefits that can last for several years, outlasting the typical duration of synthetic fillers.

What type of anesthesia can I receive during alloClae treatment?

Most alloClae treatments feature under local anesthesia, with light sedation available for more complex cases.

What are the main ways alloClae is different from traditional fat transfer?

Instead of requiring liposuction to supply fat grafts, alloClae utilizes pure donor tissue. This not only reduces operative and recovery time, but it also provides consistent, reliable volume.
