About EZ PRF Gel
Aging naturally causes your skin’s levels of collagen (protein) to decline, which can result in fine lines, wrinkles, and mild laxity. Volume loss is also common with age. Some patients experience hollow-looking cheeks and sunken under-eyes that make them look older than they are. PRF helps your body generate new tissue with growth factors, and the flexible gel formula adds natural-looking volume to your skin. (1)
Dr. Hvistendahl extracts nutrients from your blood and uses them to create an injectable that restores volume and diminishes signs of aging. The PRF serum increases your skin’s levels of fibroblasts, which create elastin and collagen proteins to help your skin maintain its smooth, youthful-looking structure.
Autologous Conditioned Plasma (ACP)

EZ PRF Gel vs. Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectables that improve our skin’s volume. The flexible formulas move fluidly with your facial movements for natural-looking results. In 2023, specialists performed more than 3.4 million dermal filler treatments to help patients enhance their appearance. Preparation
To prepare for the treatment, you will need to stop taking medication or supplements that thin your blood. You will also need to stay hydrated and avoid smoking or using nicotine products. You will also need to take good care of your skin and avoid excessive sun exposure, which could damage your skin and cause our team to delay your appointment.
Treatment Process
The treatment process for EZ PRF Gel is straightforward. On the day of your treatment, you should arrive at your appointment with clean skin. Your expert will take a small blood sample to create the EZ PRF Gel. They will purify the sample in a centrifuge to extract the purest fibrin from your blood and create the injectable serum. Next, they will administer the serum to your skin for natural-looking volume, and you can return to your normal routine afterward as long as you avoid excessive sun exposure and refrain from strenuous exercise.
After Your Treatment
After your treatment, minor swelling or skin irritation is common, typically subsiding after a few days. For the first few days, you must avoid strenuous exercise and activities. You should also avoid massaging the treatment area and touching your skin frequently. We can recommend products to help you care for your skin at home for optimal results. If you take good care of your skin, results can last between three months and a year.

EZ PRF is a well-tolerated treatment. Because we use the nutrients in your own blood to renew your skin, the risk of allergic reactions is minimized. Your medical history will determine whether the treatment is right for you, and we can answer any questions you have during your personal consultation.
How long do the results of EZ PRF Gel last?
If you take good care of your skin, the results can last for three months to a year. We can also recommend skincare products for you to use at home for the best results. The volumizing effects tend to fade after up to 6 months, but collagen production can continue to provide benefits for as long as a year.
Are there any side effects of EZ PRF Gel?
After the treatment, you may experience temporary swelling and/or skin irritation in the treatment area. These issues typically resolve on their own.
