Face, Neck, and Brow lift
Face lifting improves visible signs of aging in the face, neck, and forehead by repositioning lax facial tissues and restoring soft tissue architecture to its position in youth.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Do face-lifts have to look unnatural or stretched?
A: No, to the contrary, skillful facial surgery should go unnoticed. The aging proceshas three major components: 1) Loss of skin elasticity, 2) Gravitational descent of soft tissue 3) Loss of facial fat. For many individuals aging results in a skeletonization of the face. Younger individuals have a cone-shaped face and neck architecture, which aging gradually converts to an inverted cone. Thus, the gradual development of flat cheeks, heavy nasolabial fold, jowling of the jaw border, and laxity in banding of the neck. Optimal correction of these changes requires repositioning the existing soft tissues and in some cases adding fat where it has been lost. Today’s surgical techniques can skillfully hide incisions and not leave telltale signs of surgery (such as "the wind tunnel look") often associated with inexpert surgery. This surgery can create a dramatic before and after change but at the same time you should still look like "you".
Q: How long does the face lift last?
A: This varies from patient to patient. In general, 10 years later, you will look better than had you not had surgery but the aging process will go on. Some patient’s choose to have “touchup” surgery but this certainly is not necessary and the aging process is in no way accelerated.
Q: How long is the recovery from facial surgery?
A: In general, there will be some swelling and bruising for approximately 2 weeks. At this time, with make up, evidence of surgery maybe minimal. However, best results would usually be seen at 1-3 months following surgery.
Q: I have heard about a lunch-hour face-lift that has no swelling or bruising, is this possible?
A:There are many procedures advertised as instantaneous. Certainly, there are options to limit recovery time and visibility of surgery. However, in order to achieve a definite long lasting improvement some recovery is required. The better the conditions of the facial soft tissues at the time of surgery, the more long lasting will be the results.
Q: Can face-lift be combined with other procedures?
A: A full-face lift may involve the forehead, midface, and neck in addition to eyelid surgery and fat transfer procedures. However, this is not necessary for every individual and the procedure should be designed to the anatomy with which you present. Facial surgery can also be combined with rhinoplasty, chin, or cheek implants to change skeletal structure of the face at the same time the soft tissues are rejuvenated.
