Blepharoplasty involves removing hooding of upper eyelid skin and reshaping wrinkles or excess fat deposits in the lower lids.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How does one decide whether brow lift or surgery is required?
A: Aging changes in the upper face are often proceed as hooding of upper eyelid skin. Gradual decent of the brow contributes to this as much or more as skin laxity in the upper lid. For this reason, it is sometimes reasonable to consider slight elevation of the brow along with sculpting of upper lid skin. However, modern surgery has become much more conservative and in our opinion, the results are much more beautiful. Excessively elevated brows and skeletonized upper lids do not in any way equate with youth or beauty. Perusal of any beauty magazine shows models with very different eyelid or brow appearances. All can be beautiful
Q: Will eyelid surgery affect my vision?
A: Eyelid surgery involves the skin of the lid only and should not affect vision. It is important, however, to maintain lubrication of the eyes as this is one of the primary functions of eyelid anatomy.
