Chin and Cheek Implants
Facial contouring can be done by transfer of your own fat or by placement of silicone implants through a tiny incision.

Q: How does one know if a facelift, brow lift, neck lift, or chin and cheek implants are required?
A: Again this depends on the artistic vision of the surgeon and the goals of the patient. The test results are achieved and the face has a harmonious balance. One would never correct the right half of the face and not the left. In a similar fashion, correction of the upper face alone, no matter how skillfully done, will remain out of balance with major aging changes in the lower face or neck. The key is selecting the appropriate procedure for the appropriate patient. Modern facial rejuvenation relies less on tightening the skin and more on volume replacement. Once facial balance is restored, the complexion must be addressed. Laser resurfacing can eliminate unsightly blemishes and fine-line wrinkling, which greatly enhances the results of a well done lift.
Q: Will I be able to feel the implant?
A: Normally the implant will become incorporated in your tissues and cannot be felt.
Lumps, Bumps, Skin Cancers, and Scars
Many patients consult with their dermatologists for “funny looking spots” on their skin. This can be a time-consuming process as it often involves 1) consult 2) biopsy with pathology 3) excision of the problem 4) possible reconstruction. As surgeons trained in skin diagnosis and reconstruction, our plastic surgeons can usually provide diagnosis, pathology and appropriate reconstruction in one visit at a fraction of the time and cost.
